What
a thrill it was to see this little ladie's head crowning at birth. We
held our breaths and then were delighted to see a true black come out of
two fawn parents. We knew that El Fuegino was recessive black out of his
grandsire Synopsis Nocturna, but had to look with a fine toothed comb to
find black as a tertiary color 2 generations back on Chocolat's side. It confirmed that El Fuegino could bring his fiber characteristics into the black aspect of our breeding program. Her tui fleece is showing high luster and good definition. Venus is bred to our superfine, true black champion herdsire HVLA Black Jack.
